Sean Tinnion

​Sean Tinnion is a multi - award winning composer & music producer for films, television, contemporary dance & other multimedia currently based in Australia. Over the span of his young career, he has scored almost 40 short films based in Australia and overseas including the UK and the USA. 3 of which recently earned him “Best Film Score” at the LA Film Awards, "Best Soundtrack" at the Oniros Film Awards as well as a nomination for Best Score of the Year. He has also scored 11 feature documentaries commissioned by ABC & SBS, including two 3-part series & a 10 episode series for ABC iView titled ‘A Stargazers Guide To The Cosmos’ which also got a one hour feature and earned him “Best Music For A Documentary” at the ‘2018 APRA Screen Music Awards’ as well as a nomination for ‘Best TV Theme.’

Also venturing into contemporary dance, "Vincent" is a production based on the life of Vincent Van Gogh, choreographed by Melissa Lanham at LJ Dance. The show had it's premiere in Adelaide, Australia in March 2016 and went on to tour Melbourne & Sydney, receiving rave reviews from critics on it's choreography, lighting, music and set. A new dance work is currently in development.

Originally born in Liverpool, England, he immigrated to Australia in 2004 where his musical skills had the opportunity to develop further. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Music Major In Composition and Music Technology in 2011 from The Western Australian Academy Of Performing Arts and Graduated in 2014.
