In 2009, Keeyen was awarded the Michael Jackson scholarship to Morehouse college and earned his BA in Music and Spanish. Since graduating in 2013, Keeyen has shared the stage with some of the industry’s most accomplished talent such as Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Kanye West, Michelle Williams, Fantasia Barrino, Teyana Taylor, Aloe Blacc, Rueben Studdard, Peabo Bryson, Keke Wyatt, Deitrick Haddon, Donnie McClurkin; Pj Morton, Bobby Elle Varner, Lalah Hathaway, Common, BeBe, CeCe, and Marvin Winans, Jennifer Holliday & more!
With an array of performances under his belt, KM has performed on various platforms:
Sofar Sounds Tour/ Grammy Weeks MTV and Mastercard stages /Red Bull Music Fest/ VH1 Save The Music / BET Music Matters / TV One Trumpet Awards / Delta Airlines / Billboard Atlanta / Tunecore’s Jamcore / Coca-cola & Six Flags Independence Day Festival / Love & Hip-Hop Labor Day Festival & many more!
Keeyen's current hit single “Girl I’m On The Way” premiered on the iTunes top 100 chart and has over 500k plays and counting. 2020's off to a strong start with Keeyen wrapping a thirteen city international tour in Italy. He's now currently resuming a national tour with Sofar Sounds; and preparing to release new singles with the forthcoming ep KM Vol. 1 coming spring 2020....more
