Formerly, KwaZulu-Natal is slowly but surely cementing his place in the music scene with his mesmerizing hooks and delicate flows. $aints musical journey started in 2007 when he fell in love with hip-hop and he started writing raps in his rooms imitating artists he would see on TV in hopes of being there one day.
$aint began to take this serious in 2015 when he decided to enroll at Cape Audio College and get a Diploma in Sound Engineering and Music Production which inspired him to create Saintiago. "It's not a mixtape, EP or album. says $aint" it's a Playlist of my life. The name Saintiago stems from a "happy/safe space" I've created in my mind which allows me to express myself free from the judgement of the world and i can sit and write my music and express myself on that mic freely, says $aint.
With all the hard work and dedication put into music it has afforded $aint the opportunity to go on a radio tour and perform at one of the biggest outdoor Festivals in the country. iPotsoyi Festival opening for some of the biggest artists in the country.
