Born and bred in Perth’s thriving drum & bass scene Dead Zodiac is the solo project of Reece Mercadante formerly one half of the award winning DJ and Producer duo VLTRN. With being a established and respected DJs in his own right, having supported almost every international artist to tour Australia over the years, the early days saw him rewarded with back-to-back Perth Dance Music Awards for Best Drum & Bass DJ.Having a successful release schedule under his previous project, Dead Zodiac aims to bring a futuristic and cutting edge sonic aural display of Drum & Bass.
2018 sees Dead Zodiac release his much anticipated EP on US Drum & Bass label Santoku Records, and a murky sci-fi roller 'Out There' on UK Label Lifestyle Music UK, it also sees him launch his own label ProtoCode with fellow co-founders Esym, Profane & Against Odds, a premium outlet showcasing the finest in cutting edge bass music.
