Born and raised in Nsukka a metropolitan in Enugu state, Nigeria; Eastsidealien has emerged as one of the fast-rising voices in the Eastern Nigerian rap scene.
His major Muisc inspiration, rapper 21 Savage, helped him recognize his own talent; which eventually lead to him starting music professionally in 2019.
Whilst trying to find a space for himself in the Music industry, he started fine-tuning a sound that mixes Grime elements with Drill music and eventually created his own sound which cumulated in the release of Hypocrites in January 2023.
His first viral song “YTBMH” came months after with the release of his debut project, Dub in the rare end. The remix with Jeriq and it's growing impact, certified him as an artist to be taken seriously.
According to him music is “a life time hobby and a profession”, His primary motivation is to not necessarily to get fame but to create generational wealth through Muisc and his talents....more
