Bernny, born Emenike Chinaemuzu Bertrand, is an independent Nigerian afrofusion artist currently based in Gabon. He has been making music since 2017 and has quickly made a name for himself in the African music scene and beyond.
Growing up in Nigeria, Bernny was always surrounded by music. He was inspired by the sounds of Fela Kuti, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido which influenced his unique blend of afrobeat, R&B, Pop and dancehall.
In 2022, Bernny released his debut single, "Balance," which quickly gained popularity in Nigeria and beyond. Since then, he has released several singles and EPs, including "Je Ne Force Pas" and "Last Man Standing," featuring Gabon Pop Star "Emma’a and more.
