Hector James Zarsadias, better
known by his stage name Hector
JZ, is a Malaysian music artist,
songwriter, musician, record
producer & founder of his very
own label Zarsadias Records
Enterprise.
He's known as a
member of the musical duo -
Zarsadias Brothers. Born and
raised in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur,
mixed ethnicity - Eurasian, of
Portuguese descent.
He had a music ear at a tender
age of 11. His father taught him to
play the guitar and he learnt to
play the keyboards thereafter
only by ear. It all started when he
and his brother (Chester
Zarsadias) played music for their
family & relatives at home and
watched them enjoying
themselves. He realized the joy
on the faces of his loved ones
was something money could not
buy. Henceforth, his passion for
music grew.
As a natural dancer with
amazing moves like the
"Moonwalk" and "The Robot"
moves, he finished second in the
'Little Michael Jackson Search'
organized by Pepsi and Cold
Storage in 1993.
His musical taste differs from a
variety of genres. It can stray
from pop, funk, blues to
evergreen oldies but his favorite
genre is R&B / Hip-Hop. His
biggest influences are
internationally acclaimed
American artists - Michael
Jackson, Babyface, Stevie
Wonder, High-Five, Boyz II Men,
Vanilla Ice, Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh
Prince, Jon B.
In 2003, he started his
professional career in music with
his brother as the Zarsadias
Brothers, being passionate about
music. There is nothing more he
wants to do than just to spread
his musical passion to the world....more
