My name is Morakinyo Elijah Akintunde, and I go by the stage name Tomtiga TBG. I was born into a family of drummers (Ayan), and music has been a significant part of my life since childhood. Growing up with my grandmother, I was a member of the church Sunday school choir and played the drums during services.
For me, music is all about expressing myself and sharing messages with others. I draw inspiration from a wide range of artists, including gospel singers like Tope Alabi and Baba Ara, as well as contemporary musicians such as Asa, Wande Coal ,9ice, and Olamide
My music style is a blend of Afropop, Afrobeat, and contemporary R&B, and I often mix Yoruba and English lyrics to create a unique sound. As an artist, singer, and songwriter, I strive to make cool dance songs that people can enjoy while also spreading positive messages.
While I am currently an unsigned artist, I am passionate about making music and am constantly working to improve my craft. Sometimes, I even jump into rap. Ultimately, my goal is to reach as many people as possible through my music and inspire them to be their best selves....more
