IRhay who’s real name is Ifeanyi Favour Ofomata is from Anambra state. He was born in Port Harcourt but grew-up with a mix of realities and environments across Abia, Anambra and Lagos States. The latter being where he honed-in his passion for Music.
Losing his father so young at the age of four (4) and then opharned at eighteen (18), Music became his refuge and the drive that held him together giving him focus and direction; amidst the pain, joy, sorrow, happiness and every other emotion life’s journey has brought his way. Through this hardship and pain, this talented artist believes his light is yet to shine brightly. He coined his stage name as an acronym, honoring his belief, where “I” stands for Ifeanyi and “Rhay” for Light. Thus, Ifeanyi’s light.
