Mwembe Muntu is a member of the award winning Zambian hip hop duo; Black Muntu who pioneered a branch of Rap called “Kali-Funku”. KaliFunku embraces both Kalindula and many other international genres such as Jazz, R&B, Pop, Country, Dancehall and mainly Hip hop. By early 2000 their creation “Kali-Funku” had already hit mainstream media.
