Same OG is a multi-talented CHH Female artiste based in Lagos, Nigeria. Her musical expressions cut across the genres of Hip Hop to Afro-Beats and Neo-soul.

She loves Music! Same OG is a RAPPER and SINGER and at this point, It’s good to note the inquisitiveness around her name and music attractions. Her name OG means OGhosa, a Benin name in Nigeria. The “SAME” is a result of the multi-faceted genre of the kind of music a lady like her does.

Same OG is a Christian who loves to pass her message through music using deep lyrical lines connecting people with God.

As an Indie Artiste, she has passion for creating and curating contents that Inspires and positively motivates her listeners/readers and this can be seen in her songs and her posts online. In her words, -
“As a lady, hearing and reading about issues especially in form of music from a woman’s perspective, carries a lot of impact and so many ladies and young folks can relate to such piece. I believe that a diverse audience deserves a diverse representation of artists and messages, and since Same OG is all about diversity, professionalism and Inspiration, I long to reach out to the majority through good music and Godly contents .”

After wrapping up her well received project titled UNVEILED THE LP, which brought about global exciting feedback surrounding the release, she has gone ahead to release more songs and features.

CAREER
In 2018, She hosted the first LIVE HIP-HOP show in Lagos, Nigeria tagged “One On One with SAME OG” where a club sitting was sold out and music lovers enjoyed LIVE PERFORMANCE HIP HOP from herself and other great Hip Hop performers in Lagos, the “New York of Nigeria”.

When it comes to Christian Rap and AfroGospel music in Nigeria, Same OG is One of the few female artistes topping the charts with other male acts and we are glad to see her keeping the fire burning. Who can forget the successful and much talked about, one of its kind Live Hip Hop Show - “One on One with Same OG” she pulled off a little while back.
