Emerald Serwaah Boateng Bekoe, popularly known as Eme B is a US based Ghanaian gospel musician born on April 3rd, 2001, in Koforidua, a town in Ghana. At the very young age of 5, Eme B discovered her ability to sing and write songs so she would sing in church whenever she had the opportunity. She was raised by her grandmother until she was 9 years old, when they came to the United States to live with her father, Pastor Jerry Boateng. Upon arrival, she immediately joined her local church choir and quickly began to lead the praise and worship team. Although Eme continued to sing in her church choir, she stopped writing songs after a few years, due to some difficulties and life challenges she faced in her high school, Smyrna High School.
