Lydol, real name Dolly Sorel Nwafo , is a Cameroonian slammer and songwriter , born onSeptember 15 , 1994 in Yaoundé ( Cameroon )

From 2009, in Cameroon , she took part in a local competition called Challenge Vacances. She went to the semi-finals before winning the following year in the slam category .
Her passion for slam was born in 2010 and it was from this moment that she multiplied the sets and performance halls of the city of Yaoundé
In 2013, after several prizes won in Cameroon such as Ressort Jeunes Talents organized by the Francis Bebey Cultural Center and the Spoken Word Project organized by the Goethe Institute , she represented Cameroon in Angola as part of the Pan-African meeting of the Spoken Word Project .
In 2014, accompanied by the Cameroonian slammer Stone Karim Mohamad, she was Cameroon 's flag bearer in Durban , South Africa at the Poetry Africa Festival : a festival bringing together more than 20 slammers from several continents.

She is the coordinator of the Science slam Cameroon project which has been in its fifth edition since this year 2017
.
