Bassey Jeremiah Pericles (aka) by his stage name "Lil Skib" is an up coming artist born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Lil Skib learned to sing at the age of 9 while he attended children church music and drama practice. He read and recited poems from the Queen Premiere and also sung classics played by his father. His music career officially launched in 2015 where he made music by freestyling, recording song covers, and engaging in neighbourhood performances.
In 2019, he dropped his first single, "Street" from a freebee instrumental which was mixed and mastered by Bigzy Lion and was nominated for "BEST STREET SINGLE" on the Top Naija Music Awards.The song "Street" was a street hip single with its Hit & Clap Hip-hop vibes. He has released 2 singles in 2022, "Mo ti de" and "Victory Song" produced by Diamond V and Xperfect respectively. More new releases and collaborations are expected soon!
