Shakewell

Shakewell is not your typical Los Angeles-kid-turned-rapper. He spent some of his more formative years musically in Florida to expand his repertoire and make connections in the Miami hip-hop scene with the likes of Pouya, Ghostemane, and others-even dabbling in the metal scene for a while which got him some legitimate experience on the road. Shakewell has released two EPs, Key Stone Prince and Big Juice tha Sip. The latter EP’s lead single “LegLock” has a catchy hook and hovers just over two minutes. Also, the left-of-center music video, which features a bunch of odd characters from The Tim and Eric show, has obtained just over a whopping 10 million views since its upload. Shakewell is known for his gritty, yet humorous visuals when it comes to his videos but first and foremost is a highly polished lyricist who commands an audience when on stage and respect from peers and industry professionals alike. “Big Juice” has multiple projects in the works and is on course to become a recognizable force in the genre in 2020 and beyond. He had tremendous success supporting $uicideboy$ on 2019’s inaugural Grey Day Tour- playing 25 shows of more than 5,000 fans and a string festival season. His latest single “Late Night” is slated for a mid-April release with an accompanying video and is a rare but refreshing glimpse into Shakewell’s more melodic side with lyrics that will appease the fans of his “trap star” lifestyle as well.
