Jordon Veira, aka JV, was a social entrepreneur, activist, educator, motivational speaker, and artist.
At the age of 16, Jordon co-founded The HEARD (Formerly Spoke N' Heard), a social enterprise dedicated to arts, culture, and legacy. By age 26, he reached over 2 million people through television, radio, social media, live event series, festivals, workshops, mentorship, and performances.
An incredible poet and writer, singer, songwriter, MC, captivating speaker, rapper, actor, and comedian. His words touched people to their core and left beautiful warm memories.

Jordon has been passionate about learning, healing & social justice since he was a young student. Encountering anti-blackness, grappling with masculinity, mental health & low self-esteem at an early age. His mission became to use his artistry and lived experience to provoke change and advocate for society's most marginalized groups.
Legacy
June 23, 2019, Jordon passed away following a severely violent asthmatic episode.
He had been battling asthma for many years—a battle that inspired his self-care journey.
The last two years as he struggled to breathe, he was busy making incredible music — Notably, The Good Part, which you are about to listen to —, poetry, filming a documentary, and writing his autobiography entitled 'Black Boy Brain".
