Tottenham born singer/ songwriter Monica Alcorano first began her musical journey at the tender age of 5 when her music teacher descovered her ability to sing and put her forward as the lead singer of her school choir. After winning a number of competitions with her Catholic school choir up until the age of 11, Monica decided she wanted to take a more mainstream path with singing as she had been writing her own songs from the age of 9. Eventually catching the ear of music producers Cantina House, based in Italy. The production company put a tour together for her to perform around Rome. After years of recording with various producers and performing alongside other artists, in 2011 Monica began to work with OD Hunte, who produced her first debut single 'Touch Is Gold'. In 2016 Monica began working with music producer Darren Martyn, head of DMUnsigned who produced Monica's single 'Make Up Your Mind' and artist, Dukus who remixed and collaborated on the remix version. In the start of 2018, Monica was then approached to sing the female backing vocals on Yxng Bane's latest single Vroom. 2018 saw the release of Monica’s first EP titled ‘MOOD’ produced by Dukus....more
