Portuguese DJ & Producer Pedro Caldeira, mostly known by his stage name Pete K was born in Lisbon in 1993. He began producing electronic music back in 2010 at the young age of 17 and has since then has been breaking through with his music and gained attention and support from some of the biggest names in the world.
Shaped by the influence of sounds created by celebrated artists like Eric Prydz, Guy J, Jeremy Olander, John Digweed, 16 Bit Lolitas and Sasha, Pedro’s musical taste and style tends towards Progressive House, but also dives into underground tendencies from the likes of Deep-House, Tech-House and Techno. With this he’s been able to hit upon a formula that crosses genre boundaries with ease making him more prone to be in touch with a wider range of sounds & styles that blend well to create a new and electrifying sound structures.
His productions and remixes have earned the respect and support of several major artists like Above & Beyond, Sander van Doorn, Marcus Schossow, Jaytech, Gareth Emery, Thomas Gold, Danny Howard, Paul Oakenfold, John Askew, Roger Shah, Omnia, Cosmic Gate, Grum and Third Party.
