Pablo Say

Be it as musician, producer or DJ, Pablo Say’s (1985, Valencia, Spain) life has spinned around music since a very early age. In his native hometown, Masamagrell, with only five years old, Pablo saw himself attracted by the traditional sounds of his town’s orchestra, nurturing his love for this art. Then, he started taking solfege classes, managing to dominate complex instruments as the trumpet, which eventually led him to start studies at the music conservatory.

Being a teenager influenced by the electronic sounds that he started hearing in his first night adventures to Valencia, in local dance institutions as Rockola or Barraca, Say left the trumpet aside to eventually dominate a less conventional instrument: turntables. At first embracing harder styles, when he turned 18 house knocked his door and Pablo acquired his first Technics decks. In that moment, more mature genres started to form his repertoire, being influenced by artists as Trentemøller, Joseph Capriati or Davide Squillace, although never being tied by only one style. For Pablo, each record is a feeling that he can transmit to the dancefloor.
