Crack! Bang! Pow! is the "New Wave Grunge" project started by Brad Peterson and Ryan Reyna in the summer of 2015. For years Brad and Ryan had been heavy hitters in the Corpus Christi, TX punk rock scene. As fate would have it, they met in music school at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. After playing some gigs with the university ska band, The Eskape Tones, Ryan invited Brad over to jam.
Coincidentally, Brad was looking for a solid "Dave Grohl-esque" style drummer to record and take his acoustic songs to the next level in a full band, grunge format. Ryan turned out to be the perfect applicant. Together they rehearsed and polished the songs and headed to the studio. Brad's long time friend, Frank Slaby stepped in to fill out the low end on bass and the project was complete.
The group currently has new tracks in the works to be released soon, as well as other songs and creative ideas ready to be recorded and developed. ...more
