Inspired by life's countless revelations, Alfa is a songwriter who attempts to touch truth in her multi-genre songs. After quitting her journalism job to pursue a music career in 2011, Alfa has spent nearly a decade cutting her chops as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist, ukulele-player, and music instructor based in Los Angeles, CA. She will be featured on the PBS show "Songs at the Center" in 2020, where host Eric Gnezda describes her as "wise beyond her years...the rare artist that reaches you on various levels."
Alfa's songs have been heard on E!'s "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," HBO Canada's "You, Me, Her," and feature films "Old Fashioned," "Bennett's Song," and "Baby Steps" (from the producer of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"), the CMJ Top 200, MTV and MTV Philippines. Alfa has toured throughout the U.S. and the Philippines, and supported Shawn Mendes, Sam Smith, Us the Duo, Howie Day, Marc Cohn, Kitchie Nadal, and The Rembrandts. She is currently writing songs for her next album slated for 2020.
