The album was titled Omije Oju Mi and this maiden album gave her the name she is known with everywhere in the world. Today she is well known as Bunmi Omije Oju Mi with fans spread across Nigeria and in the Diaspora.

Bunmi Akinnanu became a household name and a choice among various churches by renowned men of God for ministrations at their crusade. She also began to receive massive invitations to minister in other Christian activities.
