Shan'L

Channelle Lekogo known as Shan'L, born on February 6, 1989, is a Gabonese singer and songwriter. Many of Shan'L songs become very popular and trendy online with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.

Career
Shan'L has a total of two studio albums and a dozen singles. Her first album titled Shan'l Is My Name was released in 2015 and her second album Eklektik 2.0 was released in 2020. Shan'l has been signed to Sony Music Entertainment Côte d'Ivoire sinceJuly 2019.

The singer has received numerous awards and distinctions, including Best Central African Artist at the AFRIMA in 2019 and at the PRIMUD in 2018 and 2020.

Shan'L was discovered in 2013 through the zouk title L'aveu in duet with the Gabonese singer Arielle T, she then multiplies collaborations with other Gabonese artists including Tina, J-Rio, FANG among others.

In 2015, she won the Airtel Trace Music Star music competition in Gabon. She is one of 13 national finalists taking part in the Pan-African finals being held in Kenya inApril 2015, sponsored by American singer Akon.

A few months later, in August 2015, She released her very first album of 17 titles entitled Shan'L is my name. It includes the titles Where is the guy, Camisole, I fight to succeed and Better Think.

It was the song Tchizambengue released in 2018 that really propelled her onto the international scene. The singer praises the "Tchiza" ( mistresses, husband thieves). The song shocks and makes a lot of ink flow.

In 2020, Shan'l is a finalist in the Pan-African competition Prix Découvertes RFI. She won the public vote, but finished in second place, preceded by the Congolese singer Young Ace Wayé, winner of the competition.

In December 2020, she released Eklektik 2.0, a 24-track album in which we find her hit singles including Tchizambengue, Yayayobé and Okokè. There is also the popular title Where is the marriage in collaboration with the Congolese singer Fally Ipupa
