Grubson is a Polish rapper and producer named Tomasz Iwańca who has been active since the late '90s. Born in Rybnik in 1986, Iwańca's older brother turned him on to hip-hop in the early '90s, and he began producing tracks at home on his computer, and formed several short-lived hardcore hip-hop groups. Grubson's unofficial first release, N.O.C., appeared in 2003, and found the rapper adding a heavy dancehall reggae influence to his sound.
