Sas was born in the City of Leeds but grew up and honed his musical skills in South East London; Hassan Matthews aka Saskilla has been dubbed as the most unique grime artist of a generation.
Saskilla was recruited to be a part of infamous Grime collective ‘Roll Deep’ at the age of sixteen by Wiley himself.
Saskilla then started Nu Brand Flexxx and rose to new heights on television i.e MTV Base etc with smash hit underground cuts such as Feel so Good, Gash by the hour, Anthem, Waving the flag and Runway.
Saskilla alongside another artist Jamkay began an online revolution with the worlds First Weekly Visual Mixtape amassing millions of views between the two of them for 17 weeks.
This lead to Saskilla accompanying Scrufizzer on an International European tour supporting Kendrick Lamar.
Saskilla then developed his own imprinted grime platform for artists On Bbc 1xtra #GimmeGrime amassing over 4 million views.
A war of words with popular grime artist ''Chip'' releasing “Chip Off My Shoulder” a diss track which went worldwide viral.
Soon after Saskilla released his instant cult classic LP “Godson of Grime” charting in the uk Top 40 added By 2017's even more succesful follow up E.P “Godson 1.5” gaining Top 20 status. Aswell as Safe 1 & 2 E.p projects we look forward to the return of the Godson series with Godson 1.8...more
