He resides with his grandmother in SICOGI Koumassi (Abidjan) and a student at Voltaire College in Marcory, Patrick Sery plays truant, and spends his time hanging out in the street. He began his career as a DJ in the famous maquis "La Cour des Grands" at the Mille maquis in Marcory, Debordo stood out. He also continues to officiate at Rue Princesse (in Yopougon) at the “Le Shangaï” maquis as a Disc jockey alongside DJ Arafat and Mareshal DJ. It was here that he began to make a name for himself in the Ivorian showbiz scene.
In 2004, with the advent of coupé-décalé in Paris barely a year ago and the birth of the "DJ phenomenon" in Côte d'Ivoire, he began to practice on the decks with the help of Java DJ. He officiated at the famous maquis "La Cour des Grands" at the Mille maquis in Marcory. Then, Debordo Leekunfa crosses the shore to officiate as disc jockey and ambianceur on the side of Princess Street (in Yopougon) at the maquis "Le Shangaï" where DJ Arafat or Mareshal DJ also worked as disc jockey.. It was here that he began to make a name for himself in the Ivorian showbiz scene.
Debordo DJ finally decides to dedicate himself totally to music. He is releasing an opus which will make a timid entry into the market despite featurings with Nash from Gbonhi, Mokobé from the group 113 on the track “Colgata” and also with Les Las group, a Franco-Ivorian group on the classic track Boucan. But, music professionals already detect in him an interesting vocal timbre and a fine handling of the "attalakus".
Achievements
Today, Debordo Leekunfa is one of the most sought-after singers of the coupé-décalé movement, and has contributed his voice to many successful songs.
