SHANIA is an emerging indie singer songwriter from South London. She has always loved music from a young age, but from age 13 her passion developed further when she started writing her own music and teaching herself guitar. All making her who she is now.
At age 13 she began posting her originals on YouTube and later Instagram, to which the company FutureVoicesUK found one of her songs and she began filming live sessions with them. In 2017 FutureVoicesUK filmed a live session of SHANIA performing an original titled Choices, a song about knife crime and early this year Choices grew attention from a popular radio station.
It was BBC Radio London who found the song and in April 2019 SHANIA was invited to perform the original live on the Dotun Adebayo show. Following on from then SHANIA appeared on other stations and shows, such as the BBC show, The Scene and Tribe Urban Radio.
