It’s been 10 years since Dani Llamas decided to start his solo music career besides fronting his bands G.A.S. Drummers and The Ships.

Dani has toured with artists like Grant Hart of Hüsker Dü, Greg Dulli of Aghan Whigs, Low, Damien Jurado, Joey Cape, Ken Stringfellow, Jon Auer, Tim Armstrong, The Sadies, and so many more.
Dani’s music combines sparkling choruses with soul music deepness, folk roots with the punk spirit that’s been continuously inspiring him for the last 25 years of making music.
His first album, ‘Speaking Thru The Others’ (2009), was produced by Ken Stringfellow.
In the second album, Minor Epic (2011), producer Paco Loco took over his most profound and raw songs.
In his 3rd album, Dead Labor (2018), Ramón Rodriguez and Raúl Pérez got to raise Dani’s songs to a higher level, in one of the most important records ever written by the Andalusian artist.
In 2018, Joey Cape signed Dani for his California based record label One Week Records and flew him to Los Angeles to make together Dani’s last studio album so far: a selection of 10 of his best songs out of this 10 year career on an intimate record to be called Dani Llamas’ One Week Record, based on vocals and acoustic guitar, but also with a fine line of string, piano and percussion arrangements....more
