Tims discovered his passion for music while still a child, as a result he spent hours listening to his role models and learning to play the guitar in his room. He received music training in the church choir and other community mass choirs where he served as lead vocalist.
His early influences are Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee, Marvin Sapp, Hezekiah Walker, Cece Winans and some mainstream acts like R. Kelly, Brian McKnight and Boyz II Men.
In 2008, he participated in Reality Music Talent Show organized by Reality Music Nigeria where he won and his fame grew around his vicinity. Tims had his first self-hosted Live Worship Concert in 2009 called ‘The Truth’. He recorded his first unreleased single in 2011.
When he is not working on music, he is working at his design firm; Creativa International.
