It takes unshakeable determination to reach one’s utopia. This has been the case for artist, T E R I? as she has been through enough pain and laughter to know that Rome was not built in a day. T E R I? is a risk taker. When it works out she laughs. When it does not, she laughs too but with a tinge of remorse. Born and raised in England to Nigerian parents, she identifies as British Nigerian as both cultures are the true mark of who she is as a person and an artist.
It is with steadfast resolve and bulldog tenacity that she released her debut EP “Plus or Minus You” on 17 April 2019 in honour of her deceased father. It features her hit single “Jejely” which was chosen by BBC Introducing for airplay and made Number 1 on their playlist.
When asked “what is your vision?” her reply has been, “to see my music reach, bless and heal millions of people - that my voice is heard worldwide so I can use my God-given gifts in precisely the right way. I want to be an ambassador for the people and to stand in the gap for those who seemingly have no voice.”
