The origins of the band are not unlike the warped pasts of other broken musicians trying to find their way through a world of broken and fragmented emotions — which explains why the duo’s visuals feature double-exposed sideways images, adding up to a what could be said is visual representation of what the music means to them.
The duo is made up of vocalist Greg Cahn, formerly of the Los Angeles based electronic group Mind the Gap (MTG), and producer/multi-instrumentalist Ben Epand, formerly of the band Queen Caveat.
