Jessie Kanayochukwu Nnamdi also known as "Jessie the Gem" is an Afro-essence Singer/Songwriter based in Lagos, Nigeria. Jessie hails from Imo State and is the third of four children. He started music in 2015 with a small school choir and eventually started writing his own songs in 2017. Jessie's love for art and its different expressions inspired him to become a dancer, drummer and eventually a singer/songwriter. He enjoys writing music and has written songs for multiple Nigerian artists. He released his first single titled "Love You" in 2020 and has since moved on to release more singles over the past two years. Music isn't the only thing that makes Jessie tick, he also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, designing user interfaces for mobile applications and websites, mixing and mastering, and playing table tennis.
