Born and raised on the country side of Guyana, in a single-parent relationship family, Dwayne is a sibling of five. He began playing the drums at age ten and later singing and song writing. Fyah is now the youth pastor at HopeNYC Church - Queens, NY. He loves playing football (soccer), volleyball, cricket and dominoes. Music has always been a part of Dwayne’s life and promulgating The Good News was always a dream of his.
After migrating to the United States in 2010, Fyah found his groove in the Gospel Reggae music realm and a decade later his foot is still on the gas. Delivering singles like ‘Bigger Than That’ prod. by Paradigm Audio Lab (Guyana), ‘Dance for You’ prod. by Joel Browne aka joey2kool (Guyana), ‘Solider’ prod. by Jahlight Records (Trinidad), and many more requested radio plays, it was time for Fyah to fulfill his promise and complete an album.
