PKNT

PKNT is a musical project originating from a creative laboratory started in mid-2014 by the Castillo Le-bert brothers, where he developed a proposal that mixes Rap with electronics and other genres typical of Latin American popular music, projecting live a Instrumental format supported by electronic and acoustic processes. At the end of 2016 they released their first album in collaboration with important producers from the local media, where Andrés Célis (Ana Tijoux-Apokalipo) stands out, as well as various figures such as Rulo (Los Tetas), Luis Lebert (Santiago del nuevo extrem). In 2017-18 PKNT begins its internationalization process, attending different fairs and markets, among which we highlight IMESUR 2017-18 and in addition to participating in the SIM international fair in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as well as in other locations located in that city and in Rio de Janeiro, and then return in 2019 to the HipHop.Doc festival held in Minas Gerais. In 2019, a second Fondart project was awarded for the realization of their next EP to be released this 2020 and where in addition to delving into the Latin American and electronic prism to conceive rap, more current aesthetic elements are added, such as the auto tune and the sinth bass, bringing PKNT closer to the urban genre and presenting new features such as Fernando Milagros, Franz Mezko, Matias Saavedra, among others.
