KEVIN DOWNSWELL SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Kevin Downswell is an incredible gift to the world and the body of Christ. This Evangelist, Recording Artist, Author and Speaker who began his journey in music and ministry when he gave his life to Lord
at the age of 13 years old. He graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelors
degree in biochemistry, as he originally had intentions of becoming a
medical doctor. In the same year also, he was ordained to the office
of an Evangelist.
He has produced 4 albums namely Close to you (2008), The Search Continues (2012, All the Way (2016) and Realignment –
the Live Encounter (2017). He has written the book The
Search Continue – The journey which was released in 2015.
He commenced an annual charity and concert series in Jamaica since 2017, that focuses on kids who have been abused and neglected.
His music is heard across Africa, Europe, North America and The Caribbean and he has won numerous
awards, Including top Gospel Artiste in Jamaica for the last 5 years by the Youth View Awards.
Amidst these achievements, he remains humble and true to his motto, That Christ may increase and I decrease” St. John 3:30.
He is happily married to Marsha Downswell and together they spread the message of the Gospel
wherever they go.
