I-Shenko Is A Reggae/Dancehall Singer/Songwriter/Producer & Audio Engineer Who Was Born John Mckenzie On The 20th Of May, 1984 In The City Of Kingston, Jamaica. He Was Raised In The Parish Of St. Catherine, Jamaica In His Hometown Of Portmore Before Later Moving to Spanish Town Also In The Parish Of St. Catherine. He Began His Music Journey While Attending High School, Having A Love For Hip Hop Music He Would Write Poetry Later Converting Them Into Rap Songs. After Leaving High School He Made A Transition From Hip Hop To Reggae/Dancehall Music, Where His Professional Career Began In 2003, Having Recorded And Released His First Reggae Single Entitled "Hate In Them" Also Known As "Fight Against" Which Gained Attention And Airplay In Various Countries Especially in Europe. Since Then He Has Released a Catalog Of Songs Including His Most Popular "Obeah Man" Featuring Reggae Superstar Turbulance, And Has Also Worked On Productions With Artistes Such As Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Lutan Fyah, Ginjah, Eddie Fitzroy, Jimmy Riley, Anthony B Just To Name A Few.
