Ame

Ame is an American singer/songwriter from Elizabeth, New Jersey .Ame began singing at 3 years old when her aunt introduced her to Selena Quintanilla. She then began writing music and it became very therapeutic in forms she couldn’t explain .Years later she was involved in chorus and musical theater where she broadened her horizons . Her influences have been Alicia Keys , Aaliyah and India Arie and she thanks her father for that . Her parents are immigrants from the Dominican Republic and they’ve always supported Ame’s dreams and they continue to. She is blessed for the amazing support system she’s always had. Ame began recording music at 18 years old out of her dorm room surrounded by friends . After all the practice she finally gained the confidence to release music .She released her first single “Soulmates” in 2018 .After taking two years off for artist development she recently released her second single “Closure” and third single “Numb”. Ame was set to release her debut this fall but pushed it back and then released her new single “Do You” . She will be releasing new music in the upcoming year!
