Tissan Ahmed, also known as T-shawn, is a multidimensional artist who focusses on creating colorful concepts for his clothing line and soulful music. Born and raised in The Netherlands with an Filipino and Bengal background, he grew up with Bollywood, Filipino & pop music, but started to form his own taste in music at the age of 11. Inspired by funk, soul, hip hop and electronic music, he now makes mellow & soulful music with a soothing sound.
At the age of 15, T-shawn started writing lyrics and producing beats. He wanted to take music seriously for a long time, but it took him a while to be satisfied with his work. After dropping out of school in 2017, T-shawn wanted to proof himself that he can reach his goals without any education. In 2019 he started making music with producer & rapper Lèlèman. Now that he found his sound, he wants to show the world what he’s capable of. “Our ideas, identity and soul go beyond our existence and there are so many ways to translate them”, says T-shawn.
