The Quiet Game Starts Now... ?

After years of making many styles of music, We decided to focus on Ambient. It started as a personal need- I felt that my days were becoming more stressful and filled with digitally-derived anxiety. I sensed this happening with others around me also, and so started this cause.

Our twist on Sleep music is simple: Filip and I travel to places we feel at ease, like the eastern sierras or the LA River. We capture natural sounds like rain and rivers, then we perform synthesized music to accompany those natural sounds. We typically tune our modular synth patches to 432 hz, since that’s the most commonly agreed upon “pleasure frequency”. In our studies we have discovered many other relevant frequencies as well, and so science is playing a serious role here... But that gets boring fast so let’s just say that we’ve analyzed any and every theory on sound and it’s effects on the mind and body and we ended up where we are now. We are very excited to take what we’ve learned about sound, music, neuroscience and society’s need for a cool packaging and personality to go along with it. And voila.
