Early Life
Andrews Amponsah-Boateng artistically known as “Andrey Bolton” is a Ghanaian-Germany based Artist and Songwriter born on 4th June in Accra (Ghana) and later raised in Germany at his early age. He studied Science & Technology at Accra Academy High School in Ghana and moved to Germany after a year in High School for Family Reunification and continued his education in “Lothar-von-faber-Schule”. Born to a family of four with him inclusive. Involving in a car accident in his teenage days grew his passion and love for music since it was a way to thank God and appreciate God for saving his life.
Music Career
He discovered his musical abilities at a very tender age of 7 years old until then he was performing and doing covers of songs by another artist. Also, at his age he encountered rap music when his brother used to produce music for upcoming artistes in the neighbourhood. In 2015, he officially started his career as an independent/unsigned recording artist with his first song “Benediction” which featured two of his classmates after college. He went on to record songs like “Blessings (ft. @Djay ), Still Got You, etc. Andrey Bolton usually loves to explore genres with his rap although his interest his Hip Hop and Afrobeat. He often raps in English, Twi (Native Language) and sometimes German. He became the lead vocalist in a Gospel trio in Ghana called “Believers” and parted ways after he relocated to Germany....more
