Abdel Fatai, known as Mazzingar, was born in Ojodu (Lagos-Nigeria) to a family of six (6). His move to South Africa was in pursuit of his music career and to gain more exposure on what he loves to do best. While in South Africa, he has worked with recognized producers to release smashing singles.
Mazzingar’s dedication to doing music landed him a record deal under LAKESIDE RECORDS in 2014. He released couple of songs under this label amongst which is “Fine Shalewa”; an afro-pop song.
Mazzingar in late 2017 unveiled his self-owned label “Bandit Music”, an independent Record Label, Music publishing and Entertainment company. Under this label he has released songs like: “Aiye O’le” with DJ Proman, "Follow U" which he did in conjunction with a Ghanaian artist by the name Doup Boy Laska (going viral all over West Africa) and his latest offering “One More Time” featuring C-tea.
