Terry Paul

Terry Paul is a singer, songwriter, producer and writer amongst his many other skills and talents. He started his musical journey at a very young age growing up in Jamaica. He recalls being influenced heavily by a variety of genres but particularly the Motown and Philadelphia sound. His first foray into music would come via church where he would sing at concerts. This soon expanded into local school concerts and other talent shows in his local area. He had always been complimented on his natural singing abilities when he sang for the locals at one of the shops in the neighbourhood. He recalls standing beside the jukebox and singing to the cheers of the locals. He migrated to the UK in his teens and was fortunate enough to meet a producer, Patrick Donegan, who took him under his wings and taught him more about using his vocals. He would go on to sing in clubs and on sound systems before eventually recording some work with Progressive Sounds. In the background he was also teaching himself the art of production. Disillusioned with the music industry, Terry stepped away from it to pursue his fulltime career in leadership and achieved a CMI Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. He never lost his love for music and knew he would eventually return one day
