Born in Kingston, Jamaica on July 29, 1995, Tafari Mobsta grew up with music all around him. The singer- songwriter began performing in grade school around his schoolmates and recorded his first song at the age of 12. After moving out of Jamaica, Mobsta chose South Florida as the place to launch his musical career.
Hailing from the Waterhouse community of Kingston, Mobsta was no stranger to struggle but music became the outlet he used to paint the picture of the things that he had experienced. Mobsta's music sheds light on his reality and the circumstances that motivates his artistry. From the culture of violence, to falling in love, the independent artist is transparent in all of his tracks.
