TOLA aka Tola Szlagowska is formerly known as the founder of a teenage sensation called Blog27.
Their debut album went double platinum and was released in Europe, Japan, Taiwan and South Africa. The group supported Tokio Hotel on tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Blog27 is the winner of EBBA and MTV EMA, making Tola the youngest recipient ever.
The second album “Before I’ll die” reached gold on the release day. The songs were featured in Poland’s biggest tv station TVN hit series called “39 and half”, while Tola played one of the leads.
The first single from that album, “Cute I’m not cute” became a national sensation and elevated Tola’s career to becoming the voice of her generation. The video stayed #1 on YouTube for several weeks.
At the peek of her success, Tola moved to LA to attend Hamilton High School Music Academy followed by Los Angeles College of Music.
In 2011 Tola released a self produced demo “Mental Detox” which reached over 1 700 000 views on YouTube.
In 2018 TOLA comes back with catchy “Atmosphere”, written together with Tim Anderson.
Music video directed by Tao Ruspoli was inspired by French new wave films, taken out of their natural context and set in the desert.
