Edward Chukwuma-Jiah alias “king special” or “king Spesh” was born in
London, great Britain to a naval captain father and an architect mother who
are from Abia and delta states in Nigeria respectively. His childhood days were
spent both in Nigeria and the U.S.A.
In his quest to unleash his potential, he relocated from Atlanta U.S.A to
Nigeria in 2006 and upon his return, became an On Air Personality (O.A.P) at
Silverbird’s Rhythm 94.7 FM Abuja all in bid to give expression to his vocality.
In just 6-months of his return, he daringly participated in the competition for MTV/ MTN VJ search and won by coming 1st after which, he then came to
Lagos and participated in the regional winners competition with contestants
from Benin, Lagos and Jos. Spesh came 2nd overall, bagged the monetary
and car prizes in addition to being made an xtracool ambassador. After the
competition, he stayed back in Lagos and paid his dues further....more
