Makayla Malaka is a young talented singer who hopes to use her music to inspire, encourage and entertain people everywhere.
Makayla started singing professionally at the age of six, released her first single 'Just Dance' at the age of seven and her first album, 'Eight' on the 27th of June 2020, her eight birthday. She later went on to release her sophomore album 'Nine' on her ninth birthday and plans on releasing a new body of work every year.
Makayla’s most recent Album ‘Ten’ which was released on the 27th of June 2022 delves into the Afro beats music genre and promises to deliver on the high standards we are used to expecting from the child prodigy.
With support from her family, Makayla has been able to strike a balance between her life as a child, school/academic work and her love for music.
