Rob Clamp

Rob is a singer/songwriter from the South coast of England, who has spent most of his adult life travelling and playing in a variety of countries. Leaving Southampton at 19, he spent a year in Australia fruit picking and busking, after being robbed in South East Asia. Then headed for university on the West coast of Wales, where he could regularly be found performing in the local pub scene. Having a few months working on a summer camp teaching music in upper state New York, Rob then returned home following graduation. Until he headed for Cornwall and then to South America, back on to Asia, stopping off in Canada and Europe along the way. Always writing music has kept Rob grounded, with songs about his experiences travelling and the people he meets. He has enjoyed much success performing on the local music scene around; Southampton, Winchester and London in recent times. Often being cited for his ability to combine free flowing melodies with free spirited lyrics, recorded with an ‘almost acoustic’ sound to add a rustic feel to his thought provoking songwriting.
