Patrick Freeman (born February 27,1993) better known as boogzino born in Hartford, Connecticut, raised in Kingston Jamaica is a Jamaican dancehall/international artist. Patrick came to America at the age of fourteen and attended Central High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Throughout high school he always had a passion for music, he would write down lyrics for songs in between classes and freestyle to his peers after school.
Patrick the oldest of three children, noticed how his parent and grandparent worked hard to achieve there goals. Listening and engaging with different people created scenarios around him that brought life to his music.
In mid-2008, experiencing firsthand the true essence of what hardship was and facing adversities, this brought fire to his music. He began to take note of what he really wanted out of life. He wanted to make his dreams come true and be the one to take care of his family and friends. He wanted his music to reach seamless possibilities.
Utilizing his child hood name “boogie” given to him by close relatives and bestfriend (reco mclaren ) calling him “Zino” he combined the names, which sprang the birth of Boogzino. Having the inspiration to fulfill his dream, he created collaborations with Gold selling Producer TrackStarr, Dj Barkley and Maiinstarr.
In 2017 Boogzino started making a name for himself with singles like “straight and clean”, “Exit”, “Kingston”, “Ganja Farm”, “Richman lifestyle....more
