At an early age of five Auzaye was privileged to be part of
the Mount Airy Cultural Center in the Germantown section
of Philly. This is where the pioneer Tony Williams and
very close friend of the late saxophone musician Grover
Washington, Jr. taught so many young musicians, to
include “Pieces of a Dream” and instilled in Auzaye the
early roots of Jazz. Auzaye was able to sing with
legendary trumpeter Wynton Marcellus. In Auzaye’s
adolescent years while serving as a DJ Roadie, he was also
being trained in the technical and business aspects of the
music industry. Although the saxophone is his primary
instrument which he learned to read and write music, by
age 12 Auzaye also taught himself how to play the drums,
piano, and trumpet.
Being trained by DJ Dr. Reggie B., Auzaye learned to DJ
on 12 inch vinyl’s as well as acquire an eclectic ear for
many genre’s of music and sound. At the age of 16 Auzaye
became the understudy of the late multi-platinum
producer/engineer Raymond “Scotty Beats” Brown. After
the passing of Scotty Beats in 2006, Auzaye became the
understudy of producer/engineer Treasure “Big Trez”
Iwotha. Upon graduating from Gwynn Park high school, Auzaye went
on to receive a Bachelors Degree in Business Management in
2012 from Bowie State University and he is currently
pursuing his MBA
