Born and raised in Jamaica West Indies, DJ Ashani’s versatile talent as a disc jockey paved his way to becoming a multi genre music producer. DJ Ashani’s love and appreciation for the art form stemmed from his earliest memories of being around neighborhood disc jockeys. Music was also a central force in his family, sticking with him for years to come. His path to becoming a DJ began in 2008, playing on various radio stations and at events. Nine years later, his closest friend brought him a keyboard, which inspired his music production journey.
